Futures: Significant price reductions - November 2010 The monthly subscription rates for WHS FutureStation have been significantly reduced for futures trading. The subscription for WHS Futurestation with intraday historic data has been reduced by -20. The version with full long-term historic data has been reduced by -11. In addition all modules which were previously paying (Automated trading, Express and, Optimizer) are now 100 free. CFD: Narrower spread AEX - October 2010 The CFD based on the AEX index (symbol N25) has been offered since some time with an even narrower spread of 0,2. This spread is available until 22h00. Futures: More historical data - October 2010 Our historical data offer has been expanded with 5 currency futures. Clients with access to historical data will see their choice expanded with the following futures: Australian Dollar (6A), Canadian Dollar (6C), New Zealand Dollar (6N), Swiss Franc (6S), Mini Yen (J7). There is no additional cost attached to this new historical data. Free trading strategies - September 2010 Six free trading strategies have been added to the trading platforms. More strategies will be added shortly. In total, clients will have more than 100 free trading strategies at their disposal. Each strategy is accompanied by a clear description, movies and practical implementation notes. The strategies can be implemented manually or automatically. There are strategies for all types of trading (swing, day ) and all financial instruments (forex, CFD, futures ). The strategies are free for WH SelfInvest clients. Pattern recognition: WHS AutoChartist - September 2010 Clients can now use WHS AutoChartist, our new professional chart pattern recognition tool. This tool is free and automatically identifies all important chart patterns as well as all six Fibonacci chart patterns. Chart patterns are a valuable source of trading signals. Traders get an automatic notification on their screen when a chart pattern is about to appear. Pairs trading - September 2010 Pairs trading (also called long-short trading or market neutral trading) is a strategy used by all institutional investors. A web page containing a clear explanation of this strategy has been added to our website. A new functionality to identify and analyze pairs has been added to WHS TechScan module. WHS FutureStation already contained a tool to plot and analyze pairs. If you are interested in swing trading it will be worth your while to look into pairs trading. Forex: Fractional pips - August 2010 Starting 9 August forex spreads will be quoted in fractional pips i. e. one decimal smaller than a pip. If, for example, the price goes up the spread would now evolve from 1,3201 1,3202 to 1,3202 1,3203. With fractional pips the price could now evolve as follows for example, 1,32011 1,32021, 1,32012 1,32022, 1,32013 1,32023 etc. This brings our quoting to the highest industrial standard in the institutional forex market.
